One way of bringing changes over to a new ebase is to make sure the old ones have a name that won't be confused with any of the new files (different name, e.g. name_.102 -> name102.fp5)
Open the new version and then open the old renamed one. Judicious cutting and pasting between the two windows will get most of it.
