I think I concur with several other respondents, to delete the contact records for those not reached. Seems to me that the contacts file should have a record of those folks you actually solicited. Perhaps you can identify the complete prospect list some other way, in the notes file, for example. Folks who said yes, are presumably going to do something for you, either send money or take action. They should get records in payments (or pledges in anticipation of payments) or actions correspondingly. Those who said no are therefore those with contact records but not payments.
