Yes, ebase consists of 29 FileMaker files, and that's the file set I refer to. Basically, everything within the ebase directory with file names like names_.102. The data is very likely intact, it's the structure of the file that is damaged, either the script of an internal reference to it. If you can open the file, you can use it as the source of an import from another FileMaker file to transfer the data. You can import the data from each of the files in your file set to the corresponding file in another file set, either a backup that you have determined to be undamaged, or a new download. There are a couple of important procedures in this process. Check the archives for a couple of posts about how to do this. The file structure is not transferred, so you will have to re-do any customizations that are not in the target file set.
