Will I have to re-enter all my customizations? > Transfering your data to a fresh copy of ebase is covered in the archives of this list. Yes you will lose your customizations. Those who customize need to learn the drill. Don't just whack on you current data. Keep a clone of your last good customized version. A clone is all the definitions, scripts, and layouts without the data. It is small by comparison with the active version containing your data. A known good backup (just stale data) can be converted into a clone by deleting all the data. If you have customization it is best to start from your clone rather than from the distributed base.
