Karin,

Clearly the problem is your system clock. Computers need to know what time
it is, and your frozen computer from a couple of days ago "forgot" the
current date.

I'm guessing you are using a Mac. Go to the control panels, find Date and
time, and reset the date and time to current.

This will not solve the problems that may have been introduced by your
recover process. But at least you will have the correct date in your
computer.

To solve the bigger problems, it looks like you need someone knowledgeable
to some into your office to determine how to best protect your data
investment. I think there are local people on this list that can help.
