Hello out there. It's looking pretty bad here. My computer froze a couple days ago when I overloaded it. Today my database is acting very weird. I went to enter a payment, and the date came up as 1957. Then I went to search for our current members, and suddenly everyone was current. There were no grace or lapsed members. I have saved my database on disk, but I'm not quite sure what to do now. Unfortunately, when I inherited the system in September, nobody told me not to click ebase windows off with the little boxes and I had no idea I should never "recover," so I did that routine a few times before I found out that's forbidden. In other words, I'm worried that my back up disk is tainted too because little things were starting to seem weird earlier, like I would enter a business on the business line and a contact person on the top line, but whenever I did a search for the business, it wouldn't come up--finally I had to enter the business on the top line. I was praying that I just didn't know how to use the system correctly. Now there's no ignoring it--everything is starting to go haywire. Does anyone have any really helpful advice for me? I could certainly use some! Karin Schalm Director Missoula Urban Demonstration Project 629 Phillips Street Missoula, MT 59802 (406)721-7513 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
