Becca, I highly recommend entering the deposit date as the Post Date. Although that field auto enters "today's date" as the post date, you can manually change that, and that's what I think you should do. Making the changes I mentioned would probably not be a good idea unless you are very familiar with Filemaker, and just using the Post Date as the Deposit Date would make all the other fields on the Home screen, plus the other internal "fiscal year" routines work. If you want to be reminded to use the Post Date field for the Deposit Date, you COULD just change the label on the Payment Entry and View Payments screens to Dep. Date, or something similar.
