In case no Mac expert replies, here is what I think: You should NEVER share the disks via Mac or PC sharing options. FMP does its own sharing using TCPIP directly. Open the files on the machine where they reside and that machine will be the host. The other machines should click on the host button in the open dialog box. Using OS file sharing is a disaster waiting to happen.
