Robert, You can use the same SMTP server as you use for your Outlook client. So just like you have to indicate an SMTP server in Outlook, you have to indicate one as you set up your account in ebase.
The only thing we did in v2 was remove the need for an external email client, because so many people had trouble configuring and using that feature.
