You are good to go. We are working on testing the network versions (actualy
almost no change from the version you downloaded) under various conditions
and will soon have the official networkable versions with installers ready.

One of the design goals of ebase v2 was to make it a platform which was
'friendly' to upgrades, bug fixes, and add-on modules. As a result, If you
start using the single user 'version' moving your data to a new version or
networking your data at some future time will be 'relativly painless'. So
feel free to start using the new ebase.
