Hello All-

For those of you using the new runtime of ebase 2.0 and trying to import your ebase
v1.03 or v1.02 data: we have uncovered a bug. The v1 Import Tool is currently not
operational when used with the FMP runtime engine. (Turns out we ran into one of
those rare situations where a file operation is completely different under the
runtime).

We will release a fix of this ASAP (hopefully within the next several working days),
and will make another announcement to these lists when it's available. Sorry for the
inconvenience to all of you already trying out ebase.

In the meantime, if you have a copy of Filemaker Pro 5.0 or 5.5, the v1 import should
run fine under that. (Note that to open ebase 2.0 in Filemaker, you'll have to copy
the 4 plug-ins from the System subfolder of the runtime folder to the System subfolder
of your Filemaker application folder. Then just open Ebase.200 in Filemaker instead
of starting the runtime.)

Let me know if anyone has further questions on this (but please also post your
questions to the list so everyone benefits).

Thanks,

Matthew
