While it is hard to say for sure with what is wrong from what you have said
in your message, I will take a guess at what may be wrong. You didn't give
you OS but based on your having the PC file - I am assuming that you are
using a Windows 95 or newer.

First to clarify some terms. the PC version of Ebase2 is currently
distributed by downloaded as a "zipped" or "zip compressed file". This is to
reduce the time the download takes as much as possible. Zipping a file has
nothing to do with the removable disks sold by Iomega called 'zip disks'.
"To unzip" a zipped document requires an unzip program. If you do not have
an unzip program, My personal favorite is Zipcetral which you can download
for free from:

http://zipcentral.iscool.net/

If after installing ZipCentral you still get an error when attempting to
open the zipped ebase download file (The ebase zipped file will have a
Zipcentral icon once ZCentral is installed) it is likely that the ebase
installer you downloaded was somehow damaged in the download. If that is the
case, I would suggest downloading again.

Once ZipCentral opens the ebase zip double click on the one file in the zip
archive and the installer should run.

Good luck
