Thanks to those you've given us the heads-up on the bug in the "Import Codes to Code Generator" process. And thanks, Dave, for explaining the background on which file to call up, and pointing out the keyboard command to get you back to the Main Menu.
Here is the step-by-step workaround to the bug in the "Import Codes to Code Generator" function on page 13 of the Code Tutorial. I'll post this also the Known Issue page on the ebase website. 1. Click "Import Codes to Code Generator" Button on page 13 of the Code Tutorial. 2. Read the warning message: Proceeding will delete all existing codes in CodeGenerator and replace them with the set you have created in the Code Tutorial. 3. Click "OK" to begin the import process. 4. In the "Open File" window, navigate to your ebase files. Select "All Files" in the Files of Type" field. Then select the CodeTutorialTool.200 file and click "Open." 5. In "Import Field Mapping" window, click "Import" button and then click "OK" in the next window. 4. If a blank screen opens, press the keyboard command Ctrl-1 (Cmd-1 on Mac) to return to the Main Menu screen 5. Go to ADMIN-->Add/Edit Codes and click the "View complete list" link in the upper right of the screen to view your new code set in the CodeGenerator file.
