I believe the manuals were written for Filemaker version 4. There are some interface differences between 4 and 5, so you will see some variations in what the manuals say about how to find a particular feature. >For example, on page 9-4 of the ebase Amin. manual v1.03, item no. 10. says >"Select Browse from the Mode Menu..." The status area is toggled on and off with a small icon next to the mode popup in the lower left. There are solicitation letter layouts in the names file which look similar to the the thank you letters.
