Hello all. I currently have an excel "database" and want to import it to ebase. I've read through the instructions and seem to be having a lot of problems and no clear answers. The info I've found seems to be on how to import one record, not a whole database. Any advice on how to get started?
Only to follow the instructions and see where you come out. I
can't see how to respond to what you have said - I don't know what you
have read, how you interpreted it, or how you attempt the import, so I
can't say where you're going wrong.
One general note, that ebase will import one record at at time,
so instructions on how to map the fields from your source data to
ebase will sound like instructions about one record, but ebase will
repeat those instructions until it works its way through your whole
file.
Keep plugging, see if you get far enough to raise some more
specific questions.
