Exactly right. Again, the reason that it is difficult to nail down these things (and define the fields in Log) is that ebase is designed for customization. If you customize, you may make modifications to the concept of a Pledge, and program a module that uses the fields in different ways. The fields in Log are intended to be somewhat flexible in meaning and use. But some are more 'hard-coded' than others. ItemAmount is one, and is used for the primary dollar amount of any transaction (pledge, donation, purchase, grant, etc.) >Another, very simple, question. They have not merged into one, [ebase2] is still thriving, although there has been a lot of ebase2 traffic on the support list. Eventually they may be merged, but that may be some time off. In the meantime, I would encourage ebase 2 users to direct their questions to the ebase2 list. However, no-one's making a big fuss about it for now, and ebase 2 questions that get sent to support have been getting good responses.
