Eric's directions are really complete. I want to emphasize that you
need to back up all the ebase files, not just the ebase.103 file.
Eric's advice about making a series of backups so you can go back
several versions if necessary is also very important.

Eric's directions also involve making a zip archive immediately which
is very important if you are going to keep the backups on the same
computer. If you use removable media like a zip drive, you can simply
copy the entire directory from the drive on your computer to the zip
disk, then rename the folder on the zip disk with the date and time
as Eric suggests. You would need several disks in that case, to be
able to keep several versions, including at least one each week kept
off site.
