I am trying to import records from an Excel file, and I inserted a record
type column and imported like it says in the manual, but I still ended up
with the same message that there's is at least one record type that appears
to be invalid. would you like to continue anyway.
not sure what I am doing wrong.
Any help?
thanks

The field Record Type is used in ebase to determine how to display
parts of the address, so it needs to have data. You probably haven't
imported a value to that field, so ebase is objecting. The usual
values are Ind (Individual) Bus (Business), Org (Organization). You
will want to fix the record type, either when you import or later, so
it has the value Ind, Bus, etc.
