Title: Using "Find" vs. "Query"
I have the following questions concerning using "Find" vs. "Query" to locate records.
  1. I wanted to locate all current members and those in the grace period.
  2. Under “Query” I entered one request for ‘current,’ and a second request for ‘grace,’ and came up with 2984 records.
  3. Under “Find” I entered a single request for expiration date of 0204...0612, and came up with 2859 records.  (0204 represents April 2002; 0612 represents Dec 2006—all within grace period)

Questions:
  1. Under “Query,” I get the message “Unindexed Records to Search:  [number records]   Processing Field “FIND MBR STATUS” and the search takes several minutes.  This message does not appear when I do a ‘Find’ and the ‘Find’ only takes seconds.  Why?
  2. Why am I getting different record numbers when I am asking for the identical information, only in different ways?

Thanks ever so much!!
