I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen anyone running ebase on OS X Server.
I would bet that if you posted your question on one of the FileMaker listservs you’d get an answer much faster. I think there is a list of them on the FileMaker site.

I have a client using v1 currently as single-user. They would like to move ebase to the office server and make it available to a total of three workstations using FileMaker Pro in a peer-to-peer setup. I can't, however, get FileMaker Pro to make these files available for sharing on this machine running OS X Server. The same files can be made available using FileMaker's file sharing on another machine with OS 9 (I have set the document preferences to multi-user). I discovered a FileMaker TechNote saying that FileMaker 5.5 is not supported on OS X Server, although it is expected to run using a compatibility environment called MacOS.app
Since file sharing works with these files in OS 9, I'm pretty sure the problem is a setting in OS X Server to allow FileMaker sharing to work. Does anyone have experience with this problem?
