Help, I broke my data entry screen in 1.03 I am still learning to use FileMaker Pro in conjunction with ebase. This morning I was working on making a few modifications to the data boxes in the standard data entry screen (E- Activist, Ann rpt., no calls, etc) by changing some of them to check boxes for easier data entry (so my users will make fewer mistakes) I thought I was doing the right thing, when I copied the Memo field from the layout of the HOME screen and pasted it to the lower portion of the screen in the DATA ENTRY screen.
Now, in my copy of ebase, every time I try to edit information in the memo field, I get a " this field is not modifiable" error . When I look up the error for Filemaker Pro, it only gives me instructions on how to restrict editing a field in my layout. When I go to Filemaker, select the memo field in layout mode, go to Format-Field format, and I find that the "Allow entry into field checkbox is already selected. I don't know where to go at this point. What have I done wrong? And what do I need to do to be able to modify my memo field again?
