The field at the bottom of the Home screen is called Card:Memo and is a calculation field. The value is equal to the field Memo which is found at the bottom of the Data Entry screen. This is done to make it visible but not editable on the Home screen. Go to the data entry screen where you have pasted this memo field, go to layout mode and double-click on the memo field you pasted in. You'll get the field selection dialog box, very probably with the field Card:Memo selected. Scroll down until you get to the field Memo and select it. Click OK.
