In the past I have beed deleting members who moved or became deceased. This resulted in eliminating their donations, etc. I did this to eliminate printing mail labels. Should they be retained in the future but how can I eliminate their mailing labels from being printed?

This has been discussed at length on the list, with several
variations on the answers. I encourage you to browse the archives at
the site above for a complete review.
Generally keep deceased contacts for two reasons
- first as you have discovered, your fundraising totals go askew
if you delete these records, and
-second, if those folks aren't in your list, marked deceased, you
run the risk of getting them back into the list through prospecting
efforts like list swaps, petition lists and such.
Use the Contact flags on the data entry screen to mark them Do
Not Mail, Do Not Solicit, whatever, then omit these records from your
search when you set out to print labels.
