We are just starting out with householding. We have added a few households to our database according to directions on Page 10-3 f. of the 9/14/99 version of "How to Use ebase."
Our dificulty is that when we choose the household option in the label routine we get the same list of records that we get when we choose the individual option. (We have followed the note at the bottom of, Users' P. 14-1, to create our found set by choosing the "Y radio button for the HEADS or NOT IN HOUSEHOLD" option.) Back in January of this year (before we began to household) we had a problem with both empty lines and left register 2 spaces to the left on labels in Individual Preview & Print option. Someone on this listserve suggested cutting and pasting layout fields from loaded (which worked) to unloaded (which wouldn't work), which we did. But did we cut and paste *household* fields into *individual* fields? I don't think so but our present dilemma makes me wonder. Would someone help by suggesting which field definitions I should compare from a fresh CD copy of ebase with our working copy that would set these problems straight. Thanks.
