I have heard that the ebase 1.0x automated list enhancement import process does not function in ebase 1.02. Is this true? I haven't found documentation of this anywhere.
In any case, does anyone have any specific advice to a group using 1.02 on Win 98 receiving back a enhanced data file from a vendor? We have the LCV guides to list enhancement, but the enhancement is not being done via LCV or by the local vendor used by LCV. We are anticipating UEF compatibility, however. My main question is: do we need to import file by file according to field placement, or is the automated feature in 1.03 going to take and place the data for us? Their ebase database has had significant modification so an official upgrade to 1.03 is not really feasible. We could manually implement all the bug fixes (actually some may have already been done) as outlined in the 1.03 bugfix text file.
