Cheryl,

You should be able to import pledges, and may be able to import straight
from the Pledges file from the corrupted ebase. If the pledges file got
corrupted, use the FMP recover command on it and then import from the
repaired pledges file into a clean copy of the pledges file. It is
possible to bring a corruption into the new database doing this, but
I've had lots of luck using this technique. Just make sure you find
out the highest pledge record # from the old corrupted copy (I think the
field is called <<Pledge Key>> in the pledges file, and you need to
check out the field definition to find out what the highest number is)
and reset the auto-counter for this field in the new file to start at
the next higher number.

Define Fields->Select the Pledge Key field->Select Options->Enter a
number higher than the number from the old file in the Auto Enter Serial
Number option.

HTH,

Carl
