I'm using FileMaker Pro 5.5 on a MacIntosh with ebase 1.03.I haven't looked in detail for the printer driver you mention but I know their are issues with printer drivers which work in OS 9 not working in OS 10. My first step would be to make sure I had the version of the driver intended for OS X.
I recently upgraded my operating system from 9.2 to X. FileMaker 5.5 runs fine under either 9.2 or X so I installed it again to do run under X.
I have customarily printed my envelopes directly from ebase to my Laserjet 2100, which load the envelopes down the middle of the top paper tray.
After the switch to System X, with no other changes, the envelopes won't print because the address is printing to the left of the envelope, i.e. it's off the page.
So far I have done the following:
I have inspected the script, and found nothing to change.
I made sure I had the right printer driver, and investigated all the options there, to no avail.
I went into Layout in FileMaker and chose the envelope layout and then Page Setup and searched unsuccessfully for a way to cause the address to print on the envelope correctly, where it was before I did the upgrade.
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
Thank you,
Paul Chubbuck
