Since you already seem to be able to SSH into your Freerunner, you need to do the following: 1. Follow the extra instructions on the USB Networking wiki page which includes the iptables masquerading on your PC to allow packet forwarding from your Freerunner through your PC to the internet. -- you will need this to have Internet access on your Freerunner while connected to your PC 2. Make sure your /etc/resolv.conf on the Freerunner has a real public DNS server, like "nameserver 208.67.222.222" in it. -- without this, opkg cannot resolve the openmoko.org URLs it needs to download the new package databases and actually upgrade them If you need any more help along the way, let us know exactly what you've done so far (paste copies of your configuration files where applicable) so we can see what you're missing.
