Has anyone ever noticed a little issue with using "ping" behind the latest version of monowall (as in 1.2b9)?
(I haven't tried it with pfSense yet, still testing it in a Virtual Server environment)
Example:
Host A - computer on LAN segment behind monowall
Ip= 192.168.0.10
Host B - computer on LAN segment also behind monowall
Ip= 192.168.0.11
Host C - a computer/device somewhere out on the internet
100.100.100.1
Steps to repro "problem":
1. Host A begins to ping Host C continuously (in WinXP, ping -t 100.100.100.1)
1a. Host C appears to respond normally to the pings
2. Host B begins to ping Host C also
2a. Host C does NOT appear to respond to Host B.
Does this also happen in the latest build of pfSense? Anyone else ever run into this?
