I *hate* the "split horizon" or "split brain" DNS solution. It is an absolute nightmare to do this stuf in DNS. Please tell me that this works in pfSense!! :)
I don't think it does (be glad to be proven wrong.) This is one of the things I liked about gnatbox - you could do loopback connects using the WAN port.
