I had all sorts of problems with 0.80 iso.

I decided to install from scratch and reconfigure everything and start
with 0.80. I had a large number of CD read errors. I burned it at 4x
and had the exact same errors in the same place. I happened to
download the iso from two different U.S. mirrors on two different
machines, and I had the same CD errors in the same place with the disc
burned on a different machine from a different mirror.

The CD eventually boots, but running installer hangs while running cpdup (?).

At this point, I'm barely limping along. I installed an older ISO I
had, and couldn't get the 0.82 upgrade to work the first time (I have
to check if the older iso was the one with the upgrade problems).

Is a 0.82 is planned soon? I will start from scratch with that and see
if I have the same issues.

By the way, the discs were burned on the same media with the same
drives with several versions prior to this without incident. I
re-burned an older iso on the same machine and it installed fine. I
suspect there is something wrong with the 0.80 iso.
