Do us a favor, test this on FreeBSD 6 _and_ while your at it OpenBSD
3.7 (and 3.8). We don't have any custom PF mods (yet) so whatever is
hitting us should be hitting the stock OS. With that said, I run
OpenBSD 3.5 (with some 3.6 memory management stuff backported) stable
at work with 100K+ states. PF can handle it, it remains to be seen if
FreeBSD w/ PF can (although I've heard of people running many hundreds
of thousands of states). This sounds more like an inadequate test
tool racking up states and not clearing them out to me.

Anyone have a real test tool they'd like to throw at it? If not,
maybe for the 1.0 release I might be able to steal a few cycles from
our Smartbits at work.
