Hi,
I just recently updated my laptop (Toshiba Portege 3110CT) with
pfSense 1.0-BETA1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-2-8-06. The system refused to boot
up, the kernel would panic after loading up the Realtek drivers for
the D-Link DFE-690TXD. The system would constantly reboot after 15
seconds, this did not happen with the pfSense
1.0-BETA1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-2-5-06 firmware update.
I tried different boot configuration but that didn't work. Once I
removed the card, the system booted up without any problems using the
internal NIC (Intel Etherexpress/100). I was able to reload the
previous snapshot and everything started to work again.
