Hello,
I'm attempting to set up pfsense on a Soekris net4801 system. I
downloaded the pfSense-Embedded-1.0BETA1.img.gz image, and tried to load
it onto a 1 GB compact flash card from my linux pc. It looks like it
worked:
# gunzip -c pfSense-Embedded-1.0BETA1.img.gz |dd of=/dev/sda1 bs=16k

However, when I move the card to the Soekris box, it does not boot:

Boot error
I tried copying the image from a FreeBSD machine too, but I'm seeing the
same problem. Am I using the correct image? Or, is there something
else I'm missing that needs to be done to get this working on a Soekris box?
