At my office I have two users who connect from windows machines to our
main office. They are connected 9-5 and use the vpn only for Exchange.
We're running the 09-14-06 snapshot. One problem that i noticed
recently is that after a recent reboot, i had to add a rule and delete
it before traffic would be allowed thru the firewall. I figured it was
a fluke. I've done a fresh reinstall since then and have had no
notable issues.

Another company that i do work for uses the openvpn connection for 10
windows users across the country. They use the vpn to provide SSH
access to a large bank of old unix machines on tuns of different
subnets. This setup is a bit crazy because the pfsense machine has 15
different vlan interfaces, all connected to a managed switch that acts
like a channel bank. each interface is then connected to a larger
nokia router, which then routes out to tuns of differnt internal
routes. (i think they have over 40 subnets total, across 6 nokia/cisco
routers) My openvpn push statement pushes out 10 different routes to
the clients, and the static routing table in the pfsense is spaghetti.

so yes, openvpn has been working pretty well for me! :)

Who out there actually uses OpenVPN and it works for them?

Please either respond here and describe your setup or reply privately to me.

We have a influx of OpenVPN problem reports and I am starting to
wonder if it works correctly at all.
