I do not know about the 850, however I can
tell you we have pfsense running on 2 2850’s and I just loaded it on 2 sc1425’s
with no issues. There are 10 types of
people in this world, those who can read binary, and those who cannot. From: Technical

freebsd-current, I see a couple of threads involving a user having various
trials and tribulations with trying to cause pfsense to work on their Poweredge
850. These threads come to an abrupt dead end when the user is given a patch
