I do not know about the 850, however I can tell you we have pfsense running on 2 2850’s and I just loaded it on 2 sc1425’s with no issues.

Subject: [pfSense Support] pfsense on a PowerEdge 850?

Searching through the archives for this list as well as freebsd-current, I see a couple of threads involving a user having various trials and tribulations with trying to cause pfsense to work on their Poweredge 850. These threads come to an abrupt dead end when the user is given a patch from someone on the freebsd-current mailing list.

This was about 11 months ago.

I'm just wondering if anyone's tried this more recently, and if so, if they've encountered any issues, or if this has actually been resolved since then.

Thanks.
