PC-----pfsense------Windows 2000 server

PC executes MS access 2000 (client)
The DB file is on the Windows 2000 Server

There is no NAT.
Each PC has its address affected by the pfsense DHCP server (attributed in function of the MAC address).

Are you natting between the 2 subnets? Maybe a small network diagram showing
the pfSense interfaces and the clients/servers would make things more clear.

Subject: [pfSense Support] Pb with pfsense and MS ACCESS

Hello,

I have installed a PC with pfsense between PCs and a file server under Windows 2000 Server. When I open a MS access 2000 data base on a PC whom the file (.db) is on the server I have some trouble few minutes later with "disk error or network error". I haven't this pb if my pfsense is configured only as a router. The problem exists even if I use the firewall filter with all the traffic allowed in input and output.
Is somebody can help me ? Do you ever see this pb ?

Thanks,

Benoit
