When the packets stop going to the ISP there is no indication with the modem lights that anything is wrong. Curiously the RRD graphs keep showing unabated traffic on the WAN interface. There is nothing I can see the new modem's web pages how the connection to the ISP is made. I'd also be interested in a solution to this.
