I've searched the forums and mail archives, but can't find this question, specifically, so here 'tis.

We're looking to use pfSense for internal layer 4 firewalling (nat & access rules). We may exceed 1gb capacity at some point in the future and would like to know whether pfSense supports NIC Bonding (or NIC Teaming or Etherchannel or port aggregation, if you prefer). Does this matter to pfSense? Or, is this simply a freeBSD configuration and the virtual interface is what is presented to pfSense, regardless of the number of physical interfaces? Also, say if we bonded 4 interfaces for 4gb of port aggregation, can we also use VLAN tagging (801.q) to the switch?

Thank you for your help, and if this is covered in the lists/forums and I missed it, I apologize in advance.
