Is your client getting the right dns server to use? Is it getting the
right search prefix? Are these things you expect the openvpn server to
push out? Can you manually do a query with these details?
I don't have much/any experience with pfSense but these are sensible
questions to debug it.
Found the issue. Something had changed with how OSX receives this
information and my script stopped working. Found an updated script
and all started working again..
