Yes and no. I kept testing the "CARP IP" addresses outside of
pfSense on the MAC and it would do the same thing. It was almost
like the CARP traffic was polluting the ARP cache on their end or
something strange.
I went over to Scott's work and looked at that one, wow was it a PITA.
Very, very strange issue and the ISP was not helpful to say the least
(until they fixed what they broke).
Though it doesn't sound exactly like what you're seeing. It was seeing
significant packet loss, not just odd delays.
This is obviously an ISP issue, and good luck getting them to believe
you... you'll probably have to keep pounding on them for a while. Good
