I'm using vmWare Workstation 5.5.5 to do some test/personalization on
pfSense.
Using pfSense-1.2-RC3-LiveCD-Installer.iso, if I boot from the ISO, at
the end of the boot I hear the usual da-du-de-di tone, the same you hear
on any real PC with a beeper (ie: not on a soekris)
If I install from that same ISO on the vm disk, after the boot every
single sound composing the da-du-de-di lasts about 3 seconds, almost
deafening anybody in the room :)
Anyone else noticing a similar behavior? Is there some workaround, apart
from remembering to mute the speaker before booting pfSense?
