Hi, all
I'll start with describing my network

I have two connections to the internet one of them have a single IP that the firewall holds on its WAN interface In the other connection I have 16 address and one of them is on the OPT leg of the firewall (i'll call it y.y.y.y)

now to the problem,
On one of the 16 address I have a server that must communicate with an internal server on a specific port, the ip of the internal server is 192.168.0.103 so I have a nat rule that directs all packets that arrive to y.y.y.y on this port to 192.168.0.103 and a firewall rule that allows traffic from the external server to the 192.168.0.103 on this port this works fine as long as the external server sends the request to the IP address y.y.y.y with destination address y.y.y.y
BUT
the external server has a routing rule saying that every packet with destination 192.168.0.103 will be routed to y.y.y.y so in some cases I have a packet with source IP of the external server and destination IP 192.168.0.103 and these packets are sent to the IP y.y.y.y and for some reason they don't go to 192.168.0.103

Please advice on how to solve this issue.

Best regards,
Ziv Gabel
