I restarted syslogd and it did not resolve my logging issues. My most recent DHCP log entry is two days ago, same with the NTPD.
Also, when I started my laptop, I noticed that even though it got an address from DHCP, it didn't immediately show up as a lease in Status: DHCP leases. I'm not sure what the deal is with the logging, but it is kind of a pain.
