I do not know the reason to have this as a port.

If you ahve gone to FreeBSD than you know what you are doing.
If you want the simplicity download pfSense.

Simple as that.

I am not saying that it cannot be a port but that is to much hassle
getting it built first do not want to thing about maintaing it.
