That relies on factors entirely outside our control, primarily the
release of a stable FreeBSD 8.x version. Probably looking at a year
minimum, but that's a wild guess at this point.
Two years (i.e. sometimes 2010) would be a safer bet, given past history.
8.0 has "just" been branched. I'd be more than surprised if it turned
into a RELEASE in less than a year.
And that doesn't take into account the time pfSense needs to stabilize ;-)
