I've just got my hands on a load of new external IPs which are on a
different network to the IPs external I currently have so I got my ISP
to "forward" them (set the next hop) to the Carped external address of
the pfsense boxes.
Now, I can proxy arp any single IP but what I want to know is can I
proxy arp the entire block. In the "virtual IP" section I have an option
to set the ip address to type "network" but when I click save it always
drops back to "single address". Is this expected behaviour?

I think this is expected behavior but imagine you can define it as a
block. How would you use it?
