I recently noticed a similar problem here, except the switch was reporting large numbers of errors while my host interfaces reported none. I was running jumbo packets all the way around and found the mtu was set larger on some interfaces than others. I thought they were supposed to negotiated a mutually agreeable mtu between them, but anyway, adjusting them all to the largest common mtu eliminated the errors, or most of them.
