Hi,

I'm running 2.0 beta3 and beta4 at a few sites. Some of the firewalls have
snort installed and I'd like to improve the performance when editing rulesets.
It's currently taking > 60 seconds to load some of the pages.

I've seen significant performance improvement when enabling compression in
other applications, including firewalls.

Might anyone have any guidance on where I might start to enable it?

I'm thinking here:

        /var/etc/lighty-webConfigurator.conf
        /usr/local/etc/php.ini.

It appears that the correct module for lighttpd is referenced in the above
config, I think I just need to update the mime types that it'll compress and
enable it in php.ini?

Any thoughts or guidance welcome.

Thanksn

Mark
