I moved in the a crap area of Los Angeles. Because of my work needs, I decided to use Clearwire (Clear) with the 4G connection to get on the internet. The little clear device allows for 5 wireless connection to the hotspot.
I thought I would use pfsense on an old laptop and use the wireless card to act as the WAN and then plug a CAT5 into the ethernet interface and plug that into my WRT160nl. Put of the reason for doing that is because the ClearSPOT device, although allow for forwarding of ports, does not allow for any QoS, and this is very important to me (afterall, how am I suppose to download all of my movies and at the same time, browse the web, etc.). The wireless device on the laptop is a prism2 card which I want to use as the WAN connection. So is that feasible, and if so, how does one setup the WPA2 credentials and make the connection to the ClearSPOT? -- Kim C.
